Hello! My name is La-Kiesha Hobbs.

 

My passion for supporting birthing parents and decreasing maternal and fetal health challenges led me to pursue a career in labor support. As a trained Birth and Postpartum Doula and Certified Childbirth Educator, I feel honored to be able to share my expertise with the families I work with. As well as physical, emotional, and educational support during labor, my role is also to act as an advocate for the birthing parent and their family. I believe in DONA's mission of "a doula for every family that wants one." Every birthing parent should be able to enjoy the benefits of continuous labor support and assistance in making educated decisions regarding their pregnancy. I uphold the DONA standard of practice in my work.

When I am not doing doula work, I can be found planning a trip to Walt Disney World, dancing around my kitchen, or curled up with a book and my dog, Bella.
